Simulation - Clinical Skills Practice Sessions In-Person
What are these sessions?
Would you like to practice key clinical skills they have been taught as part of your programme?
These sessions are designed for you to be able to book a workspace for 30 minutes to enable you to practice a skill of your choice.
We know that developing clinical skills takes time, and therefore the more you can practice, the more confident you will become.
What skills are available?
When booking you will be required to select the skill you would like to practice from those listed. Your workspace will then be set up for you for the timeslot booked.
Cannulation
Catheterisation
Venepuncture
Suturing (Midwifery only)
These sessions are for practice only with no taught content.
You must have completed the initial theory and training as part of your programmes provision. Supportive resources will be available as reminders only.
Please be punctual, your time slot is limited and will finish as scheduled.
