Library Quest - library induction activity In-Person
New students can get to know the library services with a fun, puzzle solving quest. The quest will guide them through to discover :
- our friendly Library Help Desk
- the tutorial drop-in area
- the Silent Study area
- where to borrow and return books
- where to borrow a short-term loanable laptop
- and an opportunity to ask questions and meet library staff.
You will be booking one place for a group of upto students. They will meet library staff at the Library Help Desk on the 2nd floor of the Learning Hub at the chosen start time. Library staff will brief the students and you do not need to be present for the activity, although bringing the students to the Library Help Desk can be beneficial.
We have two slots a day, 10am and 2pm, between 13th January and 31st of January available to book. If this does not suit your students, you need a different slot, or you have any questions about Library Quest then please email libraryhelp@northampton.ac.uk and we will be happy to do what we can to help.
